RENO, NV - June 1, 2008 – Grant funds available for qualified suppliers and shops to install waterborne paint systems.
GRC, a Registered Environmental Assessment firm, has structured a Certified Green Investment (CGI) program to provide no-cost funding to convert from solvent based paint to waterborne paint using a shared-savings partnership arrangement between major insurance carriers, paint manufacturers and lending institutions.
The CGI shared savings program allows shops to self-fund – paid through savings – the waterborne changeover costs by lowering energy, insurance, taxes, and operational costs. “Shops can purchase equipment with no cash outlay, says Steven Schillinger, President of GRC. We utilize standard EPA protocols and lease financing to predict and monitor environmental savings, and assume all risk relating to the predicted savings.”
GRC is licensed to review and certify the Compliance Checklist developed pursuant to Title 22 California Code of Regulations, Section 67100.10, which includes most U.S. and Canadian statutes for certification requirements of environmental, health and safety laws.
